Estas fotografias resultam de uma visita ao assentamento mais a norte do mundo, no sopé do Vale Longyear, na costa de Adventfjorden. Como o gelo, também este lugar se vai acumulando em camadas, instalando um mundo novo sobre as estruturas congeladas do passado.

These photographs resulted from a visit to the northernmost settlement in the world, at the foot of the Longyear Valley, on the coast of Adventfjorden. Like the ice, this place also accumulates in layers, installing a new world on top of the frozen structures of the past.
